YEAH...

Sitt-in’ with myself. Yeah.

I hadn’t done it in awhile.

Recently? More so.

To be clear, I have been by myself before.

I have also spent contented moments with just me.

And, I do know what loneliness feels like.

But, really, REALLY sitting with myself.

I mean with God.

Before God.

Quietly.

Telling those distracting thoughts to “HUSH!”

Commanding those fears to “ZIP IT!”

Settling down ECCLESIASTES style.

(Read the book of Ecclesiastes and you’ll know what I mean.)

Focusing. Intentionally. Resting. Intentionally.

Accepting...TRUTH.

Satisfied. Trusting.

Being.

IN HIM. 

Surrounded by HIS LOVE.

Yeah.
