GRATEFUL-TUDE!
I'm realizing more and more in my life how gratitude is so, so very important to my well-BE-ing. Intentionally digging deep and sorting and sifting to find even the tiniest positive thing, then appreciating it, is very transformative! Whenever I do this, it lightens me and takes the focus off of me and my problems. Then, it lifts me from my own personal emotional baggage. It gives me hope for the day, realizing that not everyone got to wake up today, but I do get to experience TO-day.
As I get older, I’m counting the fact that I wake up in the morning more and more of a huge blessing. I’m also savoring the good "small" things that happened to me such as a smile from someone, a free coffee, a compliment, just connecting with someone on a real level.
Feeling better and looking better comes from practicing gratefulness because you're BE-ing content, more at peace, and you are feeding on joy!
So...if you’re going through something tough or even if you’re not going through a difficult situation (right now), life gets better and better when you switch from grumbling to GRATEFUL-TUDE! Count your many blessings one by one!
