The Second Yes-Part 1 (Notes from Sermon I Heard) ~J.G.

So as I watched church this morning on the tablet, I was just amazed at what God can do.

Ok, so remember when I was young, I couldn’t stand to be in church for an hour or two. I’m like, I got better things I can be doin. And now, looking back—like how crazy was my thinking? I’m so embarrassed. Like, there is 168 hours in a week, and I couldn’t stand to give God 2 of those hours!? Ridiculous, right?

But now look—I can sit here and watch church all day now, lol. Look at how God is the God of patience. Instead of two hours, it’s now 24 hours of praising Him and seeking Him!

And now that I’m, like, really, really in the Bible—and I had said this before already, but I wanna elaborate a lil deeper. So remember I had noticed how I used to read the Bible like a robot, with no emotion. It was because I didn’t have interest. I was lying to myself to please you, and once again, look at how God works. I cannot get enough of the amazing stories in the Bible now. Like, I can’t wait till we restart reading the Bible from Genesis, because I have a new yearning, a new eagerness to share with you God’s Word.

Man, God is good, and He is faithful to the ones (like me) who don’t even deserve it. I love u, and I just wanted to share that with u. ~J.G.
